The Demeter Group undertakes several activities, all of them dealing with animal proteins and animal fats.

Pet food
Category 3 proteins, including poultry meal, feather meal, greaves meal, fishmeal, meat & bone meal and lamb meal, and animal fats, such as poultry fat and lard.

Aquafeed
We deliver different sorts of animal proteins, such as feather meal, poultry meal and fishmeal to fish farmers.

Compound feed
Since the feed ban that came into force at the beginning of 2001 almost all animal proteins are banned from being used in animal feed.

Oleochemical
Oleochemical products are made from renewable raw materials, vegetable oils and animal fats.

Biofuel
Category 1 animal fat is also used as fuel to generate electricity and on a large scale to produce biodiesel.
